This project will bring together volunteers from Kanu Hawaii and residents of affordable housing in Waimea to work side-by-side to fix vacant units in need of repairs before they can be occupied.  Our work will make these units livable and allow families in need of affordable housing to move in. Work may include painting, sanding, dry wall, caulking, and other repairs.

When:
Saturday, June 20, 2009
8:00am - 12:00pm
(stay and work after lunch if you like)

Parking:
Parking available, but carpool if possible.

Supplies/Other:
LUNCH PROVIDED
Light breakfast, snacks and refreshments will be provided.
Wear covered shoes, and clothes that you don't mind getting paint on.
Adults only. No special skills required.
