KGMB9 featured an Eat Local Challenge clip every morning for the week of the Challenge on the Sunrise morning show. Mahalo KGMB9!

Friday, August 14: 'Town' Restaurant Focuses on Local Food - Ed Kenney is the owner of "Town" restaurant, which focuses on organic food, and that is why Sunrise picked him to help us with our "Eat Local" challenge this week. KGMB9's Steve Uyehara talked to Ed along with his son Duke about eating local.

Thursday, August 13: Tamashiro Market's Tips on Eating Local - Did you know if you're trying to eat all local, you can't fry your fish? That's because the oil is not local. So KGMB9's Steve Uyehara decided to visit Tamashiro Market to get some tips from the experts.

Wednesday, August 12: Ma'o Farms Break Stereotypes With Youth of Tomorrow - When people say Waianae what images come to mind? All this week we have been eating local here on Sunrise and we sent Taizo out to the west-side to find how one farm is breaking stereotypes starting with the youth of tomorrow.

Tuesday, August 11: Expert Talks About Local Produce - On Monday morning we talked about Kanu Hawaii's "Eat Local All Week" challenge, but how do you know what's local and what's not? Dean Okimoto, the owner of Nalo Farms, knows a thing or two about that and joined KGMB9's Steve Uyehara.

Monday, August 10: 'Kanu Hawaii's' Eat Local Challenge - Kanu Hawaii is challenging people across all the islands to Eat Local during the week of August 8 - 15. Olin Lagon and Karen Shishido from Kanu Hawaii joined KGMB9's Steve Uyehara to talk about how people can get involved.
