I will get off of junk mail lists to save paper, trees, and our climate

Commit to getting yourself off of junk mail lists for a year to reduce paper, waste and other junk mail by products. The average American received 41 pounds of junk mail every year.

You can get off of junk mail lists for free with a little effort, starting at the Direct Marketing Association of America <dmachoice.org>. You'll need to study your mail for a few weeks and then request specific types of mailings to eliminate. And you need to renew your request periodically.

Or, pay a modest fee and get it done for you. Two of the best paid services are precycle.tonic.com and 41pounds.org. Precycle will plan 5 trees for you in addition to getting you off junk mail lists.  41Pounds will get you off and keep you off for 5 years.
