I will wash two loads of laundry before I run the dryer.

Of course line drying is best, but daily mauka showers can make that difficult. The dryer is in the top the top three powere suckers in my house. Most dryers can easily handle 2 wash loads. This does take a little planning to prevent souring. If I have a heavy(towels)and a light load(clothes), I will run the heavy for a few minutes to partially dry before adding the rest.
