How to Share Content from Kanu Hawaii

On every Commitment, Story, Challenge, and Challenge Commitment page, we have added a share box in the upper right hand corner of the page. These boxes have four options for sharing and if you are logged in we'll include a code unique to you. If a friend clicks on your shared content and is inspired to take at least one action at Kanu Hawaii, we'll track this information for you.

The four ways to share are

1. Post to your Facebook Wall - You must be logged into Facebook to use this option (popup will prompt for login if needed). This share feature will post a summary of a page to your personal Facebook Wall. You can customize the share message.


2. Post to a friend's Facebook Wall - You must be logged into Facebook to use this option (page will prompt for login if needed). This option posts a summary of a page along with your custom message directly to the Wall of a Facebook friend. Note that Facebook limits Wall posts so there is a maximum of 10 per day. Note this feature won't work for friends that have turned off Wall posts.


3. Post to Twitter - You must be logged into Twitter to use this option (popup will prompt for login if needed). This option pops up a fully formatted tweet along with a shortened link ready for your edits and tweet.


4. Direct Link - By copying your custom shortened link, you can send via email or other options like posting on website.
