I'm an assistant Professor at UH and I teach Environmental Planning - including Climate Change in the Asia/Pacific Region, Environmental Valuation & Energy Policy.
Hawaii is one of the most amazing places in the world. A result of many diverse cultures living in one place, the level of acceptance and integration makes Hawaii truly unique. And the beautiful beaches, amazing food, hiking, canoe paddling, kayaking, etc. etc. etc. are icing on the cake!
My favorite things to do when I'm not at work are canoe paddling, taking my dog Isabel hiking and walking Diamond Head and Kailua beach.
