Aloha. I am a creative and strategic consultant for artists, organizations and businesses and a photographer and editor. I live in Honolulu on the island of O'ahu. Most of my main interest are expressed in and relating to Hawaii; culture, music, art, science, literature, technology, communications, public interest, agriculture and food innovation, aquaponics, politics, materials reuse, civic advancement, non-profits, networking and innovation. But I have a global perspective and look to integrate ideas and energies from everywhere. Hawaii is a universal incubator with the potential to help the world.
I like experiencing and working with Hawaii artists and innovators in a broad range of fields and engaging new ideas, business, community and expression. Each island has its unique landscape and culture which we can endlessly explore. I look for ideas, people and resources that can bring important things together to bridge the ocean channels. The diversity of the islands, nature and the feeling of 'home' make the search for the higher possibilities a natural fit for this 'radical generalist'. ; )
It is actually the ability to support others and communities in their endeavors for higher outcomes that motivates me and is my passion. I only hope to give way more than I take and consider this to reflect the main social character of Hawaii— to make giving, respect and love essential. People from around the world can also orient and contribute to what we are doing in the islands in a healthy way that creates two-way win-win outcomes.
