I grew up back and forth between the beach in Kailua and the forest in Bloomington, Indiana. I've had the good fortune to live in France and England, but am delighted to be back home in Hawai`i. Through my professional and personal choices I hope to contribute to the environmental and social health and vitality of our community - whether defined in the most local or global terms.
Our glorious natural environment and beautiful mix of people and cultures (and all those great food traditions and flavors!).
Preparing and eating lovely food while sharing great conversation with friends, being outside in and helping to protect the natural environment, reading a wide variety of literature and nonfiction, and listening to and playing music.
