Aloha..
I have joined KanuHawaii and feel that I have made a good choice by doing so. As a kamaaina resident of Oahu (born/raised) I have seen many changes come about in our communities, sometimes change is for the better or for the benefit of the people, but sometimes
I'm not so sure if it is to benefit us. ...

I now have a voice where I can have a say, to be able to state my opinion or suggestion about many different things going on in our communities...........or even be involved in a group activity, to volunteer some time to help others.
.... It is my kuleana, and for me is very empowering!

I'm married, p/t student and I love Hawaii. I also enjoy social networking, reading, writing, blogging, volunteering, and taking a dip in the ocean

I believe that as a person who has been here my whole life many of the local qualities, customs, morals that I have been raised with is so important to be kept alive in this new generation, these new times we live in, it is what makes us Hawaii and it will keep the "Spirit of Aloha" alive for future generations to come. Mahalo for having Kanu Hawaii !

Why I Love Hawaii

I love Hawaii for many reasons, it has been our home for generations and we are proud to be a part of the 50th state.
Island life is something that i take value in, and will always be a part of............ i'm a representation of this aina and i'm proud for that.

I have seen many changes here since my younger days and i can only keep the memories that i have as a reminder of a much different Hawaii.

I have been raised in such a wonderful place that I feel blessed. I would not trade life here for anywhere else in the world. "Hawaii No Ka Oi"

I love to help others, to share my spirit of Aloha, to show that I do care about this place we call home by taking action along with my friends at Kanu Hawaii
