About me

Born and raised all over the island of Oʻahu, I'm a proud Eagle Scout, Roosevelt Rough Rider, and UH Alum. My favorite toys as a kid was cardboard and rope but my passion for sustainability really took off while working in general contracting, HVAC, and going to school. I found my strengths in organizational efficiency, technological innovation, and getting things done while co-founding an organization at UH called Sustainable Saunders, currently known as Sustainable UH. I thrive on maximizing life, futuristic thinking, and learning from all generations. When not deeply immersed in sustainability research, program development, and collaboration though my work at the KYA Sustainability Studio, I find my center in surfing, making stuff from scrap materials, and spending time with Family.

Why I love Hawaii

I love Hawaiʻi because it's my playground...for new ideas and for connecting with life, the water, land, and sky. It's a place where I can openly live and learn aloha. It's a place with meaning and great stories. And lastly, it's a place for an exciting and prosperous future.
