I am a mother to my wonderful dog Chevy and kitten coconut, a daughter, sister, niece, cousin, friend, colleague, student, and wife to be. I am currently in the real estate business here in Hawaii and love what I do, especially having the ability to promote eco-friendly living. I find there is a difficult balance between being a good source of info and being a preacher about health and economic conservation.
There are way to many reasons why I love Hawaii, but to list a few. ENERGY, there is no place in the world that has energy like Hawaii. I have dealt with people from all over and some have been to places more beautiful,(if you can believe that) but after a few days on these magical islands they always say to me, I love it here I need to find a home..theres just something about this place! I have meet countless people who have said they came to Hawaii to visit years ago and never left. HAWAII TIME, everyone here takes their time. No reason to rush life when life is so short. LIFE, I don't believe I have ever appreciated life like I do today. I could never find a balance between work and life. When I was 18 I became a manager at an insurance company, and it was always work or family, never both. My old boss once said to me, you know when you are becoming successful when your personal life goes to crap. Now I have a different outlook. FUN, there is always something to do or someplace to go. Hiking, fishing, snorkeling, diving, scuba, surfing, parks, picnics, gatherings, Luau's, camping, clubs, horseback riding, 4 wheeling, off roading, hunting, swimming, biking, kite flying, body boarding, shopping, crafts, art, dining..I could go on forever
I love to do everything I just listed but hunting, can't do that. My main interest though is my family, friends, running the beach with Chevy in the morning, scuba diving, and I think I may pick up spear fishing as I am seeing a lot of negative side effects of pole fishing. In the past I have rescued a sea turtle, 2 birds, and an eel from fishing line. Not to mention we have caught a baby hammer head shark and sea bird before, which was of course not our intention. I also love my job. I get to explore the island, learn something new everyday, meet interesting people.. and well lets just say theres never a dull moment.
