What is the best way to learn who the elected officials and candidates are for my voting district?

I was really glad to see Governor Abercrombie talk about the need to raise the minimum wage. 19 states have higher state minimum wages than we do and none of them even approach our cost of living! How do other KanuHawaii people feel about raising the minimum wage?
