Got Aloha for a Teacher?
You're invited to our next "First Tuesday @ Downtown" free coffee hour on January 6, from 8 to 9:30am, at Downtown @ the HiSAM restaurant. If you would like to attend, please RSVP by emailing josh@communitylinkshawaii.org. You can help us spread the word by forwarding this invitation to your contacts-the more the merrier!
Andrew Aoki will lead a discussion on Co-operation amid Scarcity: Turning Common Problems into Collective Opportunities. You'll also have plenty of time to hang out with friends and colleagues, and hopefully meet new people too.
Aoki is Director of Kanu Hawaii, a movement of people drawing on island strengths to make Hawaii a model of environmental sustainability, economic resilience and compassionate community. He formerly co-founded 3Point Consulting and College Connections Hawaii, oversaw the grant making program of the HMSA Foundation, and directed youth and teen programs for the YMCA of Honolulu.
"First Tuesday @ Downtown" is a community service co-hosted by Community Links Hawaii (“turning promising ideas into powerful impact”) and Downtown @ the HiSAM restaurant (“local first, organic whenever possible, and with aloha always”).
Aloha
