Got Aloha for a Teacher?
Here is the first video of me growing lettuce!
I start with sprouting it indoors- for it is too cold where I live to have them survive sprouting outside.
I do this by putting them on a moist paper-towel (in the video it is dry- but it was a reference) and in a bag- this retains the moisture.
I then put it by a window and wait a few days. Bam! The sprouts are there!

Count me in to follow your lead once you post episode two. I haven't had much luck with lettuce (I tend to lose to our local slugs).
I see- well then- due to your post I decided to focus on indoor growing of lettuce. Using recycled materials and a windowsill for the growing! Currently working on it - but thank you for bringing up an important point of things like slugs- I'm growing in a safe environment from them.. So now I'll additionally grow them indoors- expect the video soon
