This looks like a really good film. Do you think they'll put it on film festival circuit? I'd really like to see this film get more exposure, I think it's a really relevant message especially to areas that are geographically isolated. I'm not sure if everyone remembers when there was that dock workers strike almost 10 year ago. When that happened, some people weren't getting their paychecks and store shelves went empty, and that was just because there weren't people to take the goods off the boat to put them into stores. I'm not sure if I remember it right, but I think it took the state intervening in the labor negotiations to get the dockworkers to go back to work just so there would be food in the stores. If the boats and planes stopped coming it would be so much worse than what we saw then.
The HRDC hopes to be working with Danny Miller to eventually get a special broadcast on PBS and hopefully in the public schools. Danny is also making the film available to a wide audience, so if you have any suggestion, please let me know. I've also invited Danny to join Kanu and this thread.
