This 100% locally owned establishment is Hawaii Island's first "health food" store and a historic presence on Hilo's Kamehameha Avenue just across from the bay and a short walk from the Hilo Farmer's Market. They offer a variety of fresh produce and specialty items made in Hawaii in addition to the occasional local menu item at their cafe. The store hours vary: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, they're open from 8:30 a.m. - 7 p.m. Wednesday and Saturday they open an hour earlier at 7 a.m. Sunday the store opens at 10 a.m. and closes at 3 p.m. The cafe opens with the store but closes each day at 3 p.m.
