Got Aloha for a Teacher?
In November, Uncle Clay and I launched "The Pure Aloha Campaign": a community-wide effort to launch a movement of Pure Aloha and build the first Uncle Clay's House of Pure Aloha.
It's been very inspiring. Over 100 people have pledged to live Pure Aloha. It's making a commitment to appreciating all people as part of our one world ohana, to being our best selves by following our compassionate hearts supported with thoughtful minds, and to believing that we can change the world for the better starting with ourselves, one heartbeat at a time.

We also will hopefully succeed in raising the $7,500 we need to purchase key items for the first new Uncle Clay's House of Pure Aloha. By the end of it, dozens of individuals from Hawaii and beyond will have invested. What's more, we were able to do all this on Profounder: an online crowdfunding platform that helps entrepreneurs tap into the community to together launch ventures and fulfill dreams.
We decided to raise funds on Profounder because it was a heaven-made match for our all-about-the-community social enterprise. For the first three years, all investors will receive 1% of revenue. If we pay everyone back fully, we will then direct the revenue to Kanu Hawaii for the remaining time. In our financial projections hold, we intend for everyone to break-even, then direct over $10,000 to support the good works of Kanu! Through Profounder, it's a win-win-win situation.

(UNCLE CLAY) & BRONSON!!! you both have done a wonderful job! i will never forget the opening...look where you both are now! it truly is amazing for a small business to grow that fast! you both have taught me a lot while being at HOPA! thank you for everything! i miss you guys and HOPA very much!
