Recycling for Resource!

Oct 31, 2011 by Derek Pine | Story Popularity: 5

As a home repair tech I've found recycling helps to offset my fuel consumption cost as I am driving 2-4 hrs a day to get parts and materials to complete my work. This is huge as fuel prices are constantly bouncing up and down mostly up!Copper, brass, aluminum, glass are just a few of the items I recycle. I've seen people working full time hauling junk cars and all sorts of things that can be recycled it's amazing! If there is a will to survive tough economic times this surely has to be one of them start recycling now!!!

A good tip as recycling is a big part of the service industry, from home repair to demolition. Thanks for sharing, dad!

We own a small business and I'm always surprised by how much money we get when old steel, aluminum, etc are taken to the recycler. I can't believe people would throw that stuff away, it also helps us pay for the gas to run our vehicles!
