Please join us on Thursday, January 28 at 6:00 p.m. at the State Capitol Room 016 (Chamber Level, bottom of the building) for a special event co-hosted by Common Cause Hawaii and Kanu Hawaii.
The program will feature experts from the legislature's Public Access Room, elected officials, and experienced advocates who will explain the legislative process and share insights on how to participate effectively. Speakers include Sen. Les Ihara, Jr., Rep. Maile Shimabukuro, Jeff Mikulina, and Kapua Sproat.
The workshop is free and open to the public, and geared toward citizens who are new to the legislative process.
For those that can't make it in person, we will be attempting a live stream of the event. Just login to the Kanu home page by 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 28!
