Kohala Elementary School Students Eat Locally Grown Snack
Group North Kohala Eat Locally Grown Campaign | By Andrea Dean | Comments: 0Andrea Dean and Susan Cox (aka Green Power Girl) visited the Discovery Garden at Kohala Elementary School today with an "Eat Locally Grown" message and some local fruit for the young gardeners. The 3rd and 4th Grade classes of Eva Conway, Jean DeMercer-Breese, Elodia LeMay and Donovan Aiona worked in the garden with garden teacher Ming Wei Koh and then enjoyed papaya, star fruit, banana, tangerines and lemons with li hing mui seed (which was a big hit).
