Volunteers Needed for Waimanalo Community Recycling Day: January 9, 2010
Group Hui O Ko'olaupoko | By Hui O Ko'olaupoko | Comments: 0At this event, Waimānalo community members will have the opportunity to recycle cell phones, computers, batteries, tires, scrap metal, printer cartridges, newspaper, telephone books, beverage containers and many other items. We will also offer curbside pick-up of bulky items and free towing of unwanted vehicles. We are recruiting nearly 100 volunteers to help unload and sort the recyclables for community members, drive trucks for curbside pick up, and direct the flow of vehicles in and out of Waimānalo Beach Park.
