Leahi Park Clean-Up
DLNR: State Parks: Diamond Head State Monument

Aloha! Join us for a very special workday at Leahi State Monument (Diamond Head). This event will start at 9:00 AM and finish at 12:00 PM. Due to the closures this is the perfect time to take care of the park. This workday will involve cleaning and painting commonly used areas on the crater floor. We will also have a group working in one of our garden spaces; removing weed mat, removing grass, and doing general garden maintenance. If this sounds like something you would be capable of, we’d love for you to join us!
The meeting point will be at the small parking lot across the street from the KCC bus stop. At 9:00 we will all leave together to enter the park. It is important for you to be on time for this event!! You must arrive to the meeting point by 9:00 AM. We will be driving in to the park promptly at 9:00, If you are late you will be left behind and will not be allowed to join. We will all leave from the summit at the same time, as you will have to be escorted out of the park: there will be no early departures from the workday! Since it will be hot in the park, be sure to bring a hat, sunscreen, and lots of water and snacks. There is a limit of 15 people for this event. If you have any questions please feel free to email me at olivia.g.storms@hawaii.gov
