Yard Work Volunteers at Hale Pono Boys and Girls Club
Boys & Girls Clubs of Hawaii

Help us maintain a clean, beautiful, and welcoming environment for our children and youth during their after-school hours.
Volunteers will assist primarily with yard work, such as mowing, weeding, sweeping, pruning, trash/debris removal, edging, etc.
We have limited tool availability, so we welcome those with power or hand tools to bring them along. Donations are also welcome (but not required!).

About the organizer
Mission
The mission of Boys & Girls Club of Hawaii is to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.
The after-school hours are a critical time for youth – a time when many children in our communities are left to fend for themselves without positive adult supervision. BGCH provides a safe place filled with hope and opportunity, ongoing relationships with caring adult mentors, and enriching programs.
Vision
Our vision is to provide a world class Club-Experience that assures success is within reach of every young person who walks through our doors, with all members on track to graduate from high school with a plan for the future and demonstrating good character and citizenship while living a healthy lifestyle.
Service Statement
Welcome to Boys & Girls Club of Hawaii: We Welcome You as You Are!
Boys & Girls Club of Hawaii will achieve its greatest impact through a diverse group of people, working together in an inclusive, safe, and fair culture, to achieve our mission. When we draw on the experience of our members, employees, volunteers, alumni, and the community BGCH serves, we are better able to understand, meet, and anticipate the needs of our youth. Together we enable youth to reach their highest potential while fostering an environment that promotes opportunities, leadership, innovation and belonging, while ensuring our work is relevant in a constantly changing world.
