Event and Grounds Volunteer
Hawaiian Mission Houses Historic Site and Archives
Help support Hawaiian Mission Houses at community events, fundraisers, and on the historic grounds. Volunteers assist with event setup, guest services, grounds maintenance, and special programs throughout the year. Events include the annual Pupu Theatre, Tea Treasures, Holiday Craft Fair, and Earth Day activities. A great way to connect with Honolulu history and meet community members. All ages welcome, from students to kupuna.

We offer guided tours of historic houses, docent training programs, school education programs, cultural events and performances, and a volunteer exchange program with partner organizations across Honolulu. Our archives hold one of the largest collections of Hawaiian language materials in the world.
