Student Dashboard
The Student Dashboard is built and rolling out for the 2026-2027 school year. Developed in partnership with the Hawai‘i Department of Education (HIDOE), the Atherton Family Foundation and Hawaiʻi Stateʻs Grant-in-Aid Program, it is designed to empower students and youth organizations to track their impact, set meaningful goals, and lead the way in community service. At Kanu Hawai‘i, we are working to showcase student leadership, amplify impact, and inspire action across the islands.
What the dashboard offers
Individual and group tracking
Students will be able to log and track their volunteer hours, while advisors, teachers, and club leaders can oversee group activities and progress.
Volunteer impacts can be mapped and measured by island, complex area, school, grade, or focus areas like conservation, sustainability, or food security.
Goal Setting and measurement
Organizations and students will have the ability to set custom goals and measure progress toward impactful milestones.
Align projects with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Aloha+ Challenge Goals, connecting local efforts to broader global initiatives.
Verified volunteer transcripts
Students can generate downloadable, verified volunteer transcripts to showcase their achievements when applying for colleges, scholarships, or jobs.
Crowdfunding for student projects
“Support a Student” crowdfunding campaigns will allow the public, businesses, and visitors to contribute financial or in-kind support for student-led service projects, helping to offset costs for tools, supplies, and materials.
Recognition programs
As a President’s Volunteer Service Award Certifying Organization, Kanu Hawai‘i will provide students with opportunities to earn awards and recognition for their volunteer efforts, encouraging continued engagement.
