About me

I am Hilo Bureau reporter covering government news for West Hawaii Today. In addition, I curate a daily news blog, , and am in constant revision and pitching of a Hawaii-based mystery novel, "Lei Down and Die."

Why I love Hawaii

Obviously, I love the climate and wonderful flora all year round. I also love the rich mix of cultures and the fact there's always something new to learn about each other. I love the small town life so close to nature and public transit that takes me where I need to go.

My interests

Playing with my husband, Rex. Snorkeling, lounging on the beach, hiking in the mountains, gardening on the lanai, reading fiction of all genres.
