Share What’s For Dinner

IMPACT – Why should you invest your time in this service project?

We all know the benefits of sharing meals in terms of promoting health. But, what about sharing your plans and recipes with others? Maybe we can’t cook together, but we can plan together and get great ideas.

Ideas

Share your favorite recipe with 5 friends and ask them to share their favorites with you.

Reach out to family members to request copies of old family favorites.

Create a family cook book. Ask each family member to pick one of their favorite dishes. Compile the recipes in a family cook book to share with immediate and extended family.

Have a virtual recipe sharing gathering with friends and family.

Sign up for a “What’s for Dinner?” discussion group on June 12, 15, 19 and 22nd at 1 PM HST hosted by an AARP volunteer. You can attend all or one discussion.
