April 20 @ 8:00 am - 12:00 pm

WISFFA’s biggest long-term goal is turning the 7 acres of unused land behind Waipahu Intermediate into a food forest. However, right now there is a lot of California grass, Haole Koa, weeds, and trash. Volunteers will help clear out more of the unused land that is infested with invasive species behind Waipahu Intermediate School. Volunteers may be asked to dig up California grass, pick weeds, or cut down Haole Koa. Tasks are assigned as you get there, it is very flexible! At this specific workday, we will also be assisting Hawai’i Weed and Seed in their clean up at the Pearl Harbor Bike Path. If you have any questions, feel free to email me at [email protected]!
