Onizuka Day of Exploration STEM Event Help Needed!

Boys Scouts Aloha Council

Join us for Hawaii’s largest STEM event, the Onizuka Day of Exploration, on Saturday, April 6th, 2024, at UH West Oahu and Kapolei. The Boy Scouts of America Aloha Council is partnering with UH West Oahu to create a free STEM event for Oahu. We’re looking for volunteers to help us make this event a success!

As a volunteer, you’ll be manning booths, assisting with parking, and guiding and helping out with the workshops and presentations throughout the day. No previous experience is needed, we just need reliable individuals who can work independently and as part of a team.

We’ll provide you with more specific guidance leading up to the event, and you’ll receive beverages and lunch at the event. If you’re interested in STEM, this is an excellent opportunity to gain some valuable experience and give back to the community.

The morning shift volunteers will need to arrive no later than 7 AM, and the event runs from 8 AM until 4 PM. This is a fantastic chance to meet new people, develop new skills, and make a difference in the community. You may volunteer as little or as much as your able to. Don’t miss out on this exciting opportunity!

If you’re interested in volunteering, please contact us at [email protected] We can’t wait to hear from you!

National Mission:

The Boy Scouts of America was incorporated to provide a program for community organizations that offers effective character, citizenship, and personal fitness training for youth.
