Bottles4College collects recyclable cans and bottles to help fund college tuition for Hawaii kids! Spearheaded by 13-year-old Hawaii kid, Genshu Price.The 4 Pillars of Belief of Bottles4College is Education, Environment, Community, and Lifestyle. Please join us and Collect2Protect and Save2Pave for the future of our aina and keiki.Public Drop-off Depots are currently available at:-King Intermediate School in Kaneohe-Mililani Uka Elementary School-Kualoa Ranch during their KualoaGrown Market weekly Thursdays to Sundays from 10am to 5pm. You will find the Bottles4College bin at the entrance of the market. -Lokahi Kailua Market -Every Sunday 9am-1pm 340 Uluniu St. Kailua-Arrange for pick up for large quantities. Please contact Bottles4College through the website or FB/Instagram to arrange for pick up.-We are looking for more partners for collection depot locations! Please contact us to get your depot started. We have residential lanes/neighborhoods and condos that collect for us and we pick up from. If you and your neighbors would like to participate, please let us know!-If anyone has sources for bins/pods for collection and lightweight box truck that can be donated/sponsored for Bottles4College, please let us know! Accepting HI 5c marked redeemable recyclable cans and bottles; aluminum beverage cans, plastic beverage bottles, glass beverage cans (no wine bottles, beer bottles OK). If possible, please take all lids off. Please keep labels on and can tabs on. Thank you!Bottles4College’s first goal is to establish collection of 2-4 million recyclable cans and bottles to help fund 4 year college tuitions for 1-2 Hawaii students. Nomination process of receiving the scholarship will be announced as we establish the program. We aim to have Bottles4College collection depots in every community across island and support our environment and educational future for our next generation. Bottles4College collects recyclable cans and bottles to help fund college tuition for Hawaii kids. Spearheaded by 14-year-old Hawaii kid, Genshu Price. The 4 pillars of belief of Bottles4College are Education, Environment, Community, and Lifestyle. Our first goal is to create a system to annually collect 2-4 million cans and bottles to fund 1-2 selected Hawaii students each year for a 4 year college. We aim for this program to be available at communities across the island and be a source that Hawaii families can count on to participate in helping the environment and educational opportunities for Hawaii kids for generations to come.
