Genki Ball Making at Hilo High School

Hilo High School

To celebrate Earth Day and to encourage sustainability in our community, Hilo High student leadership and special guests will be teaching Environmental Science classes the importance of keeping our waters clean, and will be having an interactive session to make Genki Balls that will be thrown in our Hilo Bay to clean our waters. At the end of this interactive session, students will be instructed to sign the Pledge to our Keiki to learn about other ways they can serve their community. In two weeks after the Genki Balls have dried, Hilo High students will toss them into our Hilo Bay to clean our waters!
