Mālama Mala Workday

Come help us with the maintenance and upkeep of Waimea Valley.

The workdays are from 9am-12:30pm. Potential tasks include removing unwanted plants and invasive species, and removing excessive, fallen, or dried, dead leaves and fronds.

What: Work projects will be locations within the Waimea valley botanical gardens. We will provide all tools, but you are welcome to bring personal gloves. An RSVP is required.

What Age: Ages 12 and up. Any volunteers under 18 will need to have a parent or guardian accompany them to volunteer.

Work Conditions: The terrain is easy to moderate. Work will be outdoors and in the elements.
