Volunteer driver and/or chaperone

The Transportation Friends for Kupuna (TFK) project is having senior volunteers 55 years and older who provide free transportation and/or escort assistance to seniors 60 years and older who live independently and need door-through-door assistance on Oahu.
We are currently recruiting senior volunteers 55 years and older. Female volunteers will be paired with female clients and male volunteers will be paired with male clients. If this is you and you want to help drive or chaperone a kupuna, please see the volunteer requirements below.
Volunteer Requirements:
At least 55 years old
Willing to commit to at least one year
Complete an application form, provide references, and submit to a criminal history background check
Attend interview, orientation, and training
Dedicate at least 2 hours per week to your client
Drivers will need to show valid driver’s license and car insurance
