Join volunteers for hands-on native forest restoration in Pia Valley, plus a guest talk by a local conservation legend. Activities include clearing invasive flammable species, native outplanting, and ecosystem stewardship across one of Oahu’s last remaining lowland dry and mesic forests. All tools and guidance provided. Meet in the Niu Valley Shopping Center parking lot across from 7-Eleven.

About the organizer
We provide biocultural education through land stewardship and promote sustainable lifestyle options for the community. All of our events feature diverse guest speakers who teach volunteers about the importance of cultural history, native ecosystems, watersheds, and biodiversity. They help to guide our larger volunteer base in restoration efforts, and ensure that all work is scientifically rigorous and implements the best-known practices.
