How it works

Submit an application

Complete the Mālama Hawai‘i Application Form (insert link) to begin the process. Once submitted, your organization will be reviewed by the Hawai‘i Visitors and Convention Bureau (HVCB).

Get approved

Upon approval, your organization will be included in the Mālama Hawai‘i program, making your volunteer opportunities visible to millions of visitors through the GoHawaii.com website and mobile app.

List Opportunities on Kanu Hawai‘i

Use the Kanu Hawai‘i volunteer platform to set up and maintain your organization’s profile and volunteer opportunities. This platform serves as the engine driving volunteer listings on GoHawaii.com, ensuring seamless integration and visibility.
