Hui No’eau Visual Arts Center

What We Do
Without arts oriented universities or private art schools on Maui, Hui No‘eau provides Maui residents and visitors with a unique and essential arts education resource. Programs include: foundation art classes, visiting artist workshops, lectures, open studios, exhibitions, community art events, historic house and estate tours, sculpture garden, and educational outreach programs with schools and community partner organizations.
Who We Are
Founded in 1934, the mission of Hui No‘eau Visual Arts Center is to unlock creativity through exceptional visual arts education and to enhance this endeavor through the preservation of the historic Kaluanui estate. The Hui is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit arts education organization offering public access to quality arts instruction by professional and experienced teaching artists. The Hui is an historic estate and local treasure offering the Maui community and visitors an array of exciting opportunities to enjoy the visual arts in a stunning Upcountry setting.
