Create a new account


An account is required to help you post and manage volunteer organizations and opportunities (needs). Prefer a video?

  1. On the top navigation menu, hover overVolunteer” and clickMy Account

  1. Under the Register section, enter your email, new password, and a brief reason for registering

  1. Click “Register” — you’re in!

Create a new organization


Create a new organization to add and manage volunteer opportunities. Prefer a video?

  1. On the top navigation menu, hover overVolunteer” and clickMy Account

  1. Log in with your account credentials. Don’t have one yet? Register a new account
  2. Click the orange “Take me there” button

  1. In the left sidebar menu, selectOrganizations” > “Add New Organization

  1. Enter your organization name in the fields labeled “Add Title” and “Organization Name

  1. Complete all remaining fields
  2. ClickPublish” to save your organization

Create a new volunteer need


Create a new volunteer opportunity to attract volunteers. Prefer a video?

  1. On the top navigation menu, hover overVolunteer” and clickMy Account

  1. Log in with your account credentials. Don’t have one yet? Register a new account
  2. Click the orange “Take me there” button

  1. In the left sidebar menu, selectVolunteer Needs” > “Add New Need

  1. Enter your need name in the fields labeled “Add Need Title” and “Opportunity Title

  1. Select your organization from the dropdown menu

  1. Complete all remaining fields
  2. ClickPublish” to save your opportunity

Add a new user to your organization


Want multiple users to be able to manage your organization and volunteer needs? Just add them to your organization.

  1. On the top navigation menu, hover overVolunteer” and clickMy Account

  1. Log in with your account credentials. Don’t have one yet? Register a new account
  2. Click the orange “Take me there” button

  1. In the left sidebar menu, selectOrganizations” > “All Organizations”

  1. Under “Add Secondary Contact?”, select “Yes” and enter the contact’s first name, last name, email, and phone number

  1. If needed, select “Yes” under “Add 3rd Contact?” and enter their details as well
  2. ClickUpdate” to save your updates

FAQ’s

You can create a new organization in a couple minutes. We typically approve new organizations within 2-3 business days.

When prompted for “Initiative” check the box for “Volunteer Month Hawaii.” There are other iniatives here as well. Only use this if your event is actively a part of these initiatives.

If you’re organization has already been approved your need will be published live immediately. If you’re organization is not approved yet it’ll be published live as soon as your organization is approved, which usually takes 2-3 business days from creation.
