47th Annual Honolulu Intertribal Powwow

Oahu Intertribal Council

The Honolulu Intertribal Powwow is a 2-day event being held at the Bishop Museum on Sept 9th & 10th, 2023 from 10am-5pm.

We celebrate our Native American heritage with the local community and visitors from Turtle Island with Native American singing, drumming and dancing. We’ll have Native American arts & crafts vendors, children’s activity booth, educational vendors, and Navajo frybread and tacos, with other local food vendors.

Volunteers are needed to help in various booths with selling tshirts, making frybread, working in the snack booth, helping in the children’s activities, assisting elders, groundskeepers, trash collecting, runners, set-up and breakdown of event, among other things.
