Dune Restoration at Kealia Coastal Boardwalk

Surfrider Foundation – Maui Chapter

We welcome you to an active few hours with family, friends and new acquaintances, raising awareness about invasive species and dune restoration.

Participants will be restoring the dunes by removing invasive plant species and dead vegetation.

Take practical action to protect our local water shed and turtle nesting area.

Wear closed toe shoes, long breathable pants, reef-safe sun protection and a hat. Bring a water bottle. Bring your own shovel if you have one.

Meet at the Visitors Center; the boardwalk has no restrooms; those at the center will be open.
