March Foodbank Distribution
KEY Project (Kualoa-He’eia Ecumenical Youth Project)

Who can volunteer? YOU!
KEY welcomes everyone from students, business organizations, religious, civic, and sports groups, educators, families, and retirees to support our organization, facilities, programs and events. A majority of our volunteers reside in the Koʻolau area, however, we have welcomed assistance from people from all over the world! If you have a desire to give back as a resident or visitor, enjoy helping others, would like to do your part to improve the general well-being of KEY and our community, and/or have knowledge or skills to share, then volunteering is for you.
What would I be doing?
Our volunteers help keep us going by assisting our team in a variety of capacities, such as:
- Staffing our events (fundraisers, festivals, community activities. etc)
- Assisting with programming (kūpuna meal service, chaperoning excursions, etc)
- Improving our campus and facilities (yard work, cleaning, sharing expertise in electrical/plumbing, etc)
- Helping our team with office and clerical tasks or special projects
- Teaching a skill, craft, or knowledge based topic to our community members and program participants
- Providing help with pre and post event duties (set up, break down, ironing, posting signage, etc)
