Read To Me International Foundation
Read To Me International Foundation hosts several events throughout the year, ranging from smaller events (like Family Literacy Nights) to larger events (like our Feed Me A Story gala). While they are different, the organization needs volunteers who are quick thinkers, fast on their feet, and able to work with guests. Some of the tasks that volunteers may be asked to include:
- Working in Read to Me International booths at community events
- Record keeping
- Reading aloud to children/groups
- Craft activities; preparation and implementation
- Setting up/breaking down booths and physical spaces

- Presentations and workshops for parents, educators and other interested groups
- Read alouds at schools and community gatherings
- National-quality annual conferences
- Support for parents of young children living in transitional and affordable housing
