Museum Volunteer Opportunites are abundant with Bailey House Museum! Help us with one or more of the following volunteer positions:
Museum Docent – no experience needed, we will be more than happy to train you, so you are more knowledgable of Maui’s history as well
Museum Shop Cashier – no experience needed, and we can be a great reference if you are just starting out in your career!

As a volunteer you receive free admittance to any shows or events we have on the grounds, occasional cultural demonstrations at the MACC. We also offer a 20% discount on our gift shop items, and occasionally have donuts! We also offer enrollment at Kaunoa, and auto insurance and mileage options- if you are interested please reach out!

About the organizer
The Maui Historical Society Board of Trustees and staff are dedicated to the mission to collect, preserve, study, interpret and share the history and heritage of Maui. As caretakers of the land, artifacts, photographs, and documents that have been entrusted to our care, it is our responsibility to ensure that the cultural roots and history that define our community will continue to be there for future generations.
In addordance with this mission, the Maui Historical Society continues to preserve and support Hale Ho`ike`ike Museum, also known as the Bailey House, as the repository for the largest collection of Hawaiian artifacts on the island of Maui.
