Our mission at Diamond Head is to protect the park natural resources as well as to educate the public about our natural resources and history.Hawaiʻi is the most remote archipelago on earth. Our reputation for unsurpassed natural beauty is reflected in Hawaii’s State Parks.The Hawaiʻi State Park System is composed of 50 parks encompassing approximately 30,000 acres on five major islands. These parks offer a variety of outdoor recreation and heritage opportunities. The park environments range from landscaped grounds with developed facilities to wildland areas with trails and primitive facilities.We invite you to experience Hawaiʻi’s State Parks, to learn about our unique resources and history, and enjoy outdoor recreation and culture.
