March Foodbank Distribution in Kahuku

About the event

Aloha and mahalo for your interest in volunteering at the Kahuku ‘Ohana Foodbank Distributions! Every month, KEY Project staff and volunteers distribute food to over 100 households. Please note that this distribution is in Kahuku.

What will volunteers do?

  • 11 am-12pm – Arrival/check-in: volunteers can expect to be prepped on the overview of the day and get assigned to their food stations
  • 12pm-2:00 pm – Serving community members: volunteers will distribute food directly to community members and will help to clean up as needed
  • 2:00 pm-2:30 pm – Clean up: volunteers can expect to help break down tables and consolidate any leftover produce

What will volunteers need to bring or wear?

We recommend wearing comfy clothes that you don’t mind getting messy in (t-shirt, leggings, jeans, etc.) Closed toed shoes are required. Masks are optional at this time.
