Alexander and Baldwin Sugar Museum

The Sugar Museum is a 1902 plantation home on a beautiful little patch of green in Puunene, across the street from the historic sugar mill and post office. This combined shift (one hour at each desk) is ideal for students doing community service hours as part of graduation, or anyone wanting to interact with the public in a relaxed, fun, setting. We train you to do both, and it’s easy!

Tasks involved: Greeting customers and directing them into the gallery, ringing up sales on Square payment system, stocking shelves, and pricing merchandise, and other “busy work” as needed, such as light cleaning and assembling craft kits for our Education Program. Persons with a lot of Aloha and a flexible “can do” attitude are desirable for this position.

Current schedule is Monday-Thursday, 10-12 or 12-2. Schedule changes often, so please inquire. We would like to show you around, so message us to schedule a meeting!
