Museum Grounds Care

Alexander and Baldwin Sugar Museum

Groups welcome! Do you have a green thumb? Do you like puttering in the garden while listening to your favorite podcast on your earbuds? Well, then, the Sugar Museum has an opportunity for you!

We are seeking persons to weed, prune, trim, rake and water our beautiful historic museum grounds, directly across the street from the historic sugar mill.

Be transported back in time as you work in a serene little patch of green containing the last two original Puunene camp homes constructed in 1902. This is a great opportunity to connect with nature and contribute to the care of the Sugar Museum, which is a community resource.

Days and times available are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday, between the hours of 9 and 1. Please inquire about volunteering on a Saturday.

Closed toed shoes required. Wear a hat and protective clothing. We have a small amount of gloves and tools to lend. Sign up here: https://forms.gle/9W5b315gjDm498VL6 or reply to this posting. Thank you!
