Paia Homeless Ministry Food Distribution

Every Monday from 9:am to 10:am food, pet food and clothes from the Maui Foodbank is distributed to the disadvantage at the Paia Public Parking Lot.The parking lot is located right after the Paia bypass road as you enter Paia from Kahului. We distribute every Monday unless Monday is a holiday and the FoodBank is closed. Then the distribution is moved to Tuesday that week.
Arrive at the parking lot with closed toe shoes between 8:30 and 8:45.
Set up 7 six foot tables, unload delivery trucks.
Load food on tables in separate categories.(ie: cereal, rice, saimin, can goods, drinks, produce.etc)
Once distribution begins, restock tables as items are diminished. Smiles and friendliness is appreciated.
As distribution winds down, consolidate left overs in bins, collapse and load tables and bins into car.
Any assistance is welcomed!
