Pia Power Hours — Weekly Restoration Workday


Protect & Preserve Hawaiʻi

Hands-on native ecosystem restoration in Pia Valley every Monday morning. Activities include invasive species removal, native outplanting from the SE Koolau seed zone, and trail maintenance across 330 acres of conservation land. All tools provided. Meet in the cul-de-sac at the top of Anolani St. No experience necessary.

About the organizer

We provide biocultural education through land stewardship and promote sustainable lifestyle options for the community. All of our events feature diverse guest speakers who teach volunteers about the importance of cultural history, native ecosystems, watersheds, and biodiversity. They help to guide our larger volunteer base in restoration efforts, and ensure that all work is scientifically rigorous and implements the best-known practices.
