RC Ala Moana Honolulu Marathon Water Station

Ala Moana Rotary

Join the Rotary Club of Ala Moana at the last water station along the Honolulu Marathon route to cheer on runners and pass out water and Gatorade.  You will receive a Honolulu Marathon volunteer shirt to wear so that the runners know who to turn to for water/Gatorade as they finish the marathon.  We will need approximately 10 or more volunteers per shift.  Help set up the large water tanks that is the water source for the water; set up papercups and fiill them with water.  Then, as runners approach, we will hand out waters as they continue to run the marathon.  Show the Rotary spirit while cheering and encouraging runners to complete their goal of running in the Honolulu Marathon.  Contact RC Ala Moana member and Club Administrator Scott Wishart if you would lilke to help or if you have a group wanting to earn volunteer hours.

About the organizer

Rotary in Hawaii has approximately 1,500 member Rotarians in 53 Clubs located on five islands of Oahu, Maui, Lanai, Kauai, and Hawaii Island. We are a part of 1.2 million Rotarians across the globe, comprised of neighbors, friends, and community leaders who are creating positive, lasting change in our communities and around the world. Our diverse occupations, cultures, and experiences give us a unique perspective. Our shared passion for service helps us accomplish remarkable feats.

Through our programs for emerging leaders, we’re also helping young people get the skills and experience they need to make a real difference in the lives of others. We offer both service clubs and programs to help students and young professionals strengthen their leadership skills, expand their world understanding, and make new friends.
