Volunteers needed at Sugar Museum

Alexander and Baldwin Sugar Museum

Do you like interacting with happy people who are on vacation? Do you like learning about Maui’s history? Are you a high school student who needs to fulfill volunteer hours for graduation, or a Scout who needs a service badge? Well, we have an opportunity for you! The Sugar Museum is a 1902 plantation home in a beautiful little patch of green in Puunene, Maui, across from the historic HC&S mill. Here, people learn all about sugar history and plantation life.

We need help at our front desk and gift shop entails greeting visitors, ringing up sales on Square platform, stocking shelves, pricing merchandise, folding brochures, keeping the lobby clean and tidy, and providing general all-around help as needed. You’ll spend a little bit of time at both desks, so there is always variety. It’s easy, fun, and we show you how!

Current schedule is Monday, 10-12 or 12-2, Tuesday, 10-12 or 12-2, Wednesday, 12-2, or Thursday, 12-2. Subject to change, please inquire in advance.

See you at the museum!
