Museum Front Desk and Gift Shop Help

Alexander and Baldwin Sugar Museum

Do you enjoy interacting with people and sharing Aloha? Do you like learning about Maui’s history? Are you a high school student who needs community service hours for graduation, or a Scout who needs a service badge? We have opportunities for you! The Sugar Museum is a 1902 plantation home in a beautiful little patch of green in Puunene, Maui, across from the historic HC&S mill. Here, people learn all about sugar history and plantation life.

Working at the front desk and gift shop consists of greeting visitors, ringing up sales on the Square system, stocking shelves, pricing merchandise, keeping the museum neat and tidy, and providing general all-around help. You’ll spend a little bit of time at both desks, so there is plenty of variety. It’s easy and fun!

Current schedule is Monday-Thursday, 10-12 or 12-2. The schedule is subject to change, so please inquire in advance. Learn more HERE. Sign up HERE. Reply to this opportunity for more information. Mahalo.
