Lunalilo Home

What We Do

E hoʻomau i ka pono o Ka Mōʻī ʻo Lunalilo e hoʻohanohano, e mālama, a e hoʻomalu i ke ola o nā kūpuna – To perpetuate the legacy of King William Charles Lunalilo to honor, tend to, and protect the well-being of elders.

Who We Are

We invite you to share your aloha and spend time with our kūpuna. Individuals and groups are welcomed to volunteer their talents — whether it is performing Hawaiian music and hula, creating floral arrangements, assisting with office and administrative functions, or simply “talking story” and playing games with our residents. Larger community service projects may include painting portions of the facility or assisting in landscaping projects. Currently, during the pandemic, volunteers have been submitting letters to kupuna, recording concerts to be played for the kupuna and donating items.
